Tent Crew Member

We pay well and provide opportunities to earn extra cash.

As a growing company, we are always looking for help setting up and taking down tents for various events located throughout Winnipeg and its surrounding areas.

Here is what to expect: Once you sign up, you will receive emails for upcoming jobs. Each email will outline info such as tasks, location, pay, and expected time to complete the job. If it fits your availability, reply “I’m available”; if not, just ignore the email. Jobs are awarded on a first-come-first-serve basis (although preference may be given based on past availability and performance). We will then call you to discuss the job and arrange details. There will always be an experienced team leader at the site to help guide you during set-up or take-down.

Here is what you will typically do on a typical shift:
– Assist with setting up and taking down event tents
– Load, unload, carry, and move furniture, tent equipment, and related materials
– Work as part of a crew on job sites
– Follow directions from the crew lead and help complete jobs safely

Hours: This is a casual, flexible position. Shifts are typically short and usually fall in the 2 to 4 hour range, depending on the job. Larger events will have longer hours. Work is available on an as-needed basis, and scheduling can vary based on event bookings.

Who this role is good for: This role is ideal for someone looking for flexible work, part-time work, someone looking to supplement their income, or anyone who enjoys active, hands-on work. Great for someone who is taking summer courses or someone eager to supplement their income.

If you want to join our team, earn a solid side income, keep a flexible schedule, and work with some friendly people and customers, get in touch with us using the form below.

Class 5 licence allows you to drive passenger vehicles and light trucks (cars, SUVs and pickups). It’s the most common type of licence in Manitoba.
Events can be up to 1 hour outside of Winnipeg. You will be compensated for travel time for any events outside of Winnipeg.
For example: Do you currently have a job? Do you have any relevant experience? What are your expectations? What kind of hours are you able to work?
For example, I run 5-6 times a week. I like to play pickleball with my friends/family. Or, I enjoy watching documentaries and drinking beer.
